River Boat Mississippi

Riverboat Mississippi (restored Artesania Latina River boat)

My river boat from the beginning to what it looks like now. From a ghost ship to a nice Riverboat. This is the Artesania Latina River boat This came to me as a complete mess. When my wife saw it she said I should use it for fire wood. Well maybe she was right but I like a challenge sometimes and on this one sure was as you can see from the pictures. There was a not a straight piece of wood on it. so I tore it down completely and redid it all. This is an None RC, yes I said None RC. But for a while I was thinking about turning it into one. I still can for I left a way where I can completely remove the full decks in one piece and start at the hull. Even the paddle wheel was not put together right, but now It is free wheeling. So just about all I would have to do is just add a motor set up for driving the paddle wheel, add the RC set up and go. But I feel the hull is not deep enough for what I like to do.

The beam is 5 inches wide. 28 inches long. 12 inches high from bottom of keel to top of stacks, With an a hull only about 1 inch thick you see it will make a better display then an RC . I have picture of it from the day I got it to complete tear down and back together. I have about 3 months into this one including paint work rigging and everything else. The last thing I need to do is build a case for it.
