1/350 USCGS Campbell WPG-32 (Iron Shipwright)
Iron Shipwright's cutter Campbell, in its mid-1943 configuration, was basically built out-of-the-box. A forward 5" gun deck blast shield was added; and, the kit's masts/platform were replaced by brass rod/plate. L'Arsenal's 3" 50 cal. and 20mm guns replaced those provided in the kit. Steve Nuttall's 5" 51cal. brass barrels were also used. The model was painted in the Measure 22 camouflage scheme using Model Master Arcyl paints. Construction time was about 100 hours.
