1/700 Nippon Maru (Fujimi)
Fujimi's Nippon Maru in pre-war Yamashita Line colours. Thanks
to all on the 'CASF Japanese Merchant Ships' forum for their help and information
which enabled me to build the ship in one of her many guises.
The kit was built mainly from the box with minor modifications as follows:
Brass masts from BMK, walkways, oil pipe storage channels and supports
from L'Arsenal. Home-made decals for the funnel markings and house flag
to replace the ones supplied with the kit. The kit is painted in acrylics
with sea base from watercolour paper. Rigging was caenis line and monofilament
fishing line.
