1/1200 Cruise Ship Aida (Revell Germany)

Here are my pictures of cruiseship model AIDA in scale 1/1200 from Revell Germany. It's a snap kit which does not require any glue, however, modelers recommend to glue at least the main structure and decks. It's a kit with a few parts only and can be easily assembled on one single evening. After spray colouring with Tamiya Lexan color the lower hull was cut away and the model was positioned on a transparent plexiglass plate. Water was applied using silicone. Decks, pool area and details were painted using Revell colors, there are no PE.parts to be found in Europe for scale 1/1200 so I just waived for them. The stone wall ment to be a wave braker in the background carries two little signs (no anchoring and SPREE KANAL which means SPREE channel, the river that flows through Germany's main city Berlin). Knowing that cruiseships of this size of course cannot travel on the domestic rivers, it's to be understood more as a gimmick for the receiver of the final project which are citizens of Berlin. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
