1/420 SS Argentina (Revell)
I just saw Gregg Schubert's Brasil on this site, and thought I would submit the Brasil's sister ship, Argentina, which I built a couple of years ago after a struggle on E-bay to find this ancient, out of production kit. In short, I paid $100 for a kit that sold for $1.98 at the time of production. At the risk of dating myself, I sailed on the maiden voyage of the Brasil back in 1958, and two years later sailed on the Argentina. At the time I was living in Buenos Aires whee my father had a job with a New York bank. I used Gold Medal Models photo-etch for details.
