RMS Mauretania

1/600 RMS Mauretania (Airfix)

This is the Airfix RMS Mauretania, a very nice old kit. I added the Gold Medal Models 1/600 liner detail set. The rigging used to be a bit more complex, but the first time I took this outside to photograph it, an errant gust of wind sent the whole model crashing to the deck, where it of course exploded. A short stay in the shop has it back, if not as good as new, at least presentable.
