1/600 Queen Elizabeth 2 (Airfix)
1/600 Airfix kit greatly modified to represent the QE2's refit in the middle of the 1980's after her return from the Falklands war. The best part of a year to complete, but I think it's a good representation of the 1980's refit. Just aft of the bridge the first class cabin's are scratch built. The funnel is scratch built and painted in the cunard's red with black stripes colours. scratch built canopy where band's used to play and passengers danced. Scratch built extended boat and pomenade deck's. PE railing's used.
