1/350 IJN I-400 (Tamiya)

This model of IJN I-400 was constructed by me in precise 1/350 scale, a very popular scale for submarines. The I-400 was a submarine aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy during the WWII. She was one out of three Sen Toku I-400 class submarines (I-400, I-401, I-402). They were able to carry three torpedo bomber floatplanes type Aichi M6A (Seiran). Sen Toku I-400 class submarines were the largest submarines of WWII and remained the largest ever built in the world until the ‘60s.
