1/700 Typhoon Class Russian SSBN (Hobby Boss)
I wanted to take a break from the gray surface ships of the 'Cold
War' and after watching the "Hunt for the Red October" for what seems the
hundredth time, lol. I said why not build the largest submarine to go to
sea. At the last minute, I decided to give a rough comparison between size
and shapes between the Russian Typhoon class SSBN, the US Ohio class
SSBN, and the relatively small US Los Angeles SSN. It was nice to
work with hull red again. I definitely need to work on taping i.e. the
white water line. This should make a nice addition to my 'Cold War'
fleet.
