1/350 U-35 (Blue Water Navy)
This diorama was inspired by movies of commercial shipping crews surrendering to U-35 during WWI. I used a Blue Water Navy kit of U-35. The row boat was from a Hasegawa accessories kit. The oars were made by squeezing flat the ends of brass wire. The figures were 3D printed by Luis of holden8702. Additional detailing was added to the conning tower and antenna masts were also added to the hull. Water base was made by applying epoxy resin over a foam base and textured. It was then painted and topped with acrylic gloss medium to add depth.
